RHJYC worked together with Community groups, thanks to a donation from the ASDA Foundation, to create an amazing Christmas party attended by over 200 people!
RHJYC, Rose Hill Youth Football Club, Rose Hill Social Club, Rose Hill Community Network, supported by Oxford City Council and Rose Hill Community centre, worked together to create the safe outdoor Christmas event.
Thanks to a £500 grant by the ASDA Foundation, donations of Christmas decorations by the community, and Christmas tree’s by Milbrook Farm & Highfield Trees, families could visit Santa at the Grotto, get their faces painted, ride ponies thanks to Pony Pursuits, make Christmas cards and enjoy hot chocolate and festive nibbles.

It was an amazing event, full of community spirit and happy faces. It was wonderful to hold an event after being in lockdown the year before due to COVID-19. Everyone was grateful to be able to create this event, with safety measures in place.
