Supporting children aged 5-10

RHJYC runs two open access youth club sessions for children aged between 5-10 years old at Rose Hill Community centre.

We follow a free play approach at all of our youth clubs. We believe that children should have the freedom to choose what they want to do and for how long.

Children can play with their friends and meet new children, they can do arts and crafts activities, make up their own games, play sports or in the playground, do cooking, play music and visit our allotment for nature activities, all supervised by our dedicated, caring and qualified senior staff team.

At the end of the session, children sit together to eat a delicious, nutritional and freshly prepared hot dinner and dessert to end the day. Read more about how we use surplus food at our youth clubs:

Session details:

Wednesday: School Years 1-3, 3:15pm-5:15pm

Thursday: School Years 4-6, 3:15pm-5:15pm
