RHJYC appoints Food Ambassador

Rose Hill Junior Youth Club is delighted to announce the new appointment of chef Gregg Brown as their Food Ambassador!

With food, culinary education & hospitality such a key part of his life, Gregg draws on a 40 year career in kitchens & training locations all over the world including Raymond Blanc, the Dorchester, Savoy, as well as national roles with Marriott, The Clink Charity & most recently, The University of West London & Daylesford Organic Cookery School. 

In 2018, Gregg launched an exciting food education and events project called, ‘CookSchool‘, which offers skill-based classes for cooks of all ages, allowing Gregg to share his passion for teaching.

As a qualified teacher, Gregg believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about food & have the confidence & skills to cook good food.

Gregg is dedicated to helping RHJYC shape the future for everyone by running regular cooking workshops, encouraging an enthusiasm & interest in preparing food & understanding the importance of a varied & nutritious diet.

Charity Director Chris Chaundy said:

Having access to Gregg’s experience, knowledge and support is a fantastic way to promote our work with food, the needs within our community, healthy eating & food culture. 

Gregg will be involved in education, fundraising, advocacy & engage with local families through cooking workshops, food initiatives & community events.”
