Learn how to make your own Podcast in these fun workshops for young people at Rose Hill Community Centre!

These exciting workshops will be led by The Story Museum and supported by JYC staff.
The podcasting workshops feature as our second creative activity this year with The Story Museum, who previously delivered Zine making sessions as part of their Story Connectors project.
The workshops
Podcasts are a series of spoken-word audio episodes focused on a particular topic or theme.
Using stories in all forms as a basis, we will use professional audio equipment to explore how to record, interview and edit to create your very own podcast which will premiere on The Story Museum’s 1001 Stories Collection Website.
There will be five workshops, with four based at the centre. The final workshop on the 22nd October will be a free trip to The Story Museum and includes an opportunity to record some of your podcast in the museum’s immersive spaces.
These sessions are free for 11 – 16 year old’s and will take place on Tuesdays from Tuesday 24th September, 5pm-6:30pm.
There are limited places available, so please register your interest now!
Session dates:
Tuesday 24th September, 1st October, 8th, 15th, 22nd (trip).
This project has been supported by National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council England, and The Story Museum team.
